As the rebellion and Alien threats grew, the Confederation found itself in need of a fast courier better able to defend itself. Metroworks was commissioned for the project, and the FA Courier (which is nearly identical to the civilian Courier Mark II) was the end result. With only a slight increase in available mass, Metroworks was able dramatically improve the armament.
